    I remember Naomi Sims on the cover of Ladies Home Journal, Vogue and other magazines,as well as the Michael Douglas TV show. It was during a time when there were no black faces on the covers of magazines unless you include National Geographic. As a young girl I was beyond proud of this BEAUTIFUL, BLACK WOMAN!!!

    Thank you, Naomi for being a pioneer, for paving the way for other beautiful black people to stand in the sun. THANK YOU, because the road, I am sure, was not easy!!!
