    Beloved Naomi,
    You inspired a generation to dream. You taught us that above all, persistence is that most valued trait that make our dreams come true.

    You dazzled us with your wisdom, your sense of style, your attention to every detail, your eloquence, and captivated us with your storytelling. I remember vividly our trip to L.A. and after a camera crew trailed you for the entire day, you remained animated, with fresh insights on numerous subjects. I remember how the lines were wrapped around the block when you appeared at New York City's
    A & S, with countless visitors of all genders, all races, all ages, carrying the 1969 copy of LIFE with that memorable photo of you, so happy to catch a glimpse of you as they asked you to sign it.

    While you will always be America's true beauty icon, it was that inner beauty you radiated that enveloped all around you.

    As we criss-crossed the country introducing prestige skin care to all corners of America, you inspired that remarkable bond that continues to unite all of us today...and for that gift, we are eternally grateful. On behalf of the original members of Naomi Sims Beauty Ltd, we love you and will miss you. But within each of us, your spirit lives. Farewell from Donna, Paula, Gisela, Patricia, Carol, and last but not least, Jack and Alex. And, in spirit, our beloved Michael, Al K, Richard, and sweet Greta. Wishing Bette, Bob, Alex, and your wonderful nieces peace and comfort during this time of great loss.
